When I open the virtual machine on my laptop (16gb ram) the only thing that shows up is a black screen after the boot. VPS Provider states Virtualization and VT-X are enabled on server side. I start the VM and the default display resolution is 800 × 600. My host machine is a MacBook 2018 with a Retina display (2560 × 1600). However, whenever I login, kali goes to a black screen which I cannot bypass. I am running Linux (Debian 64-bit) on it. I have recently installed kali on my windows 10 laptop via virtualbox.n I completed all the installation steps and kali runs properly. Trying to install Kali on my Windows 2008 R2 VPS but after clicking any of the Boot Menu options e.g Graphic Install, it keeps showing a frozen blinking underscore black screen or sometimes (1 out of 50 tries maybe) it will go through to the setup page and will get frozen in "detecting link on enp0s3" message. ![]()
